Sunday at 8pm, join us for a special choral broadcast from The Tudor Choir, considered one of the best early music vocal
groups in the country. Their spring concert is a gorgeous mix of
music composed specifically for performance in the Sistine
Chapel during the Renaissance. You’ll hear some of the most
beautiful works from Palestrina, Victoria and Allegri, plus the
crowning jewel of the Renaissance, Tallis’ “Miserere.”
MAY 22, 2013 8PM: SEATTLE YOUTH SYMPHONY
Tune in for a broadcast of the Seattle Youth Symphony’s spring
concert. The top-notch local musicians play a wonderfully
romantic program, including Brahms’ “Tragic Overture,”
Debussy’s “La Mer” and Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition.”
MAY 26, 2013 8PM: SEATTLE PRO MUSICA
We’re all thankful for the extra sun we’ve had this spring, but none
is more grateful than choral ensemble Seattle Pro Musica. Tune
in for a special broadcast of their spring concert, “Lucis,” a musical
tribute to light. You’ll hear lovely classics mixed in with heart-
stopping new music from Scandinavian and Eastern European
composers. The broadcast’s highlight is “Canticum Calamitatis Maritimae,” a tribute to the lives lost in a tragic 1994 shipwreck,
written by Finnish composer Jaako Mäntyjärvi.
MAY 29, 2013 8PM: NORTHWEST SINFONIETTA

“Scottish” Symphony No. 3.
