I use Chrome, and can not access the KING FM Streams
Using chrome, and you can’t play our streams? We’ve heard that, as we use an embedded Windows Media Player on our site to play the music, and Chrome just doesn’t want to do that. Worse, as you probably discovered, it doesn’t know how to install the right plugin to do so, or sometimes even tell you that you need to install a plugin. There is a plugin from Microsoft that fixes this.
You can find the plugin at:
http://port25.technet.com/pages/windows-media-player-firefox-plugin-download.aspx.
Yes, I know the page doesn’t mention a thing about Chrome, and only talks about it as being a solution for Firefox. While the plugin was originally designed to fix this problem for Firefox, is also fixes it for Chrome, and is in fact recommended by the support pages for Chrome. Microsoft has not updated the page to reflect that it works for Chrome as well. Never mind that the page doesn’t even mention Windows 7 if that is the operating system you use. It does work with Windows 7, Microsoft just hasn’t updated the plugin’s page to reflect this either. Keep in mind, you can also listen to us by using Internet Explorer, and you can also find all of our streams in Apple iTunes’ Radio function, in the classical section.
