April 16, 8pm: Rachmaninoff's Second Symphony
This weekend, the Seattle Symphony pairs the dramatic and romantic
music of Beethoven and Rachmaninoff with “The Death of Oscar,” a
work by living Scottish composer James MacMillan. Stéphane Denève,
who conducted the premiere of “The Death of Oscar” in Stuttgart last
year and conducts the Symphony this weekend, joins KING FM’s Dave
Beck in the studios for a concert preview.
