Did you know Mozart wrote his first opera when only 11 years old and spent almost one third of his life traveling?
Learn more about the world’s most prolific composer and hear all his major works during the month of January, when Classical KING FM 98.1 celebrates Mozart’s 256th birthday for 31 days.
As an annual tradition, Classical KING FM will play at least one piece by Mozart every hour, 24 hours a day, during the month. On-air hosts will feature Mozart “from A to Z,” showcasing Mozart’s entire catalog of works Jan. 1- 8. In addition, Classical KING FM will focus on Mozart’s symphonies the week of Jan. 10-14, from 7 am-7 pm, and will play his concertos the week of Jan. 17-21.
31 Days of Mozart programming includes:
Jan. 1 – 8: Mozart A to Z – KING FM will play the music of Mozart once an hour, every hour, 24 hours a day.
Jan. 10 – 14: Mozart Symphony Week – KING FM will play all the Mozart symphonies in order. Each day from 7 am-7 pm hear a Mozart symphony every hour.
Jan. 15 – 16: Mozart A to Z Weekend – Mozart Concertos
Jan. 17 – 21: One Mozart concerto every hour, weekdays from 7 am to 7 pm
