Classical KING FM - Event Volunteer

Join the team of volunteers who staff the KING FM promotional tables at concerts, performances, and community events around the Puget Sound region!
 
The ideal candidate for this volunteer position:
  • Is a regular KING FM listener who is familiar with the station’s programming and/or listening experience, and will be a positive advocate for Classical KING FM
  • Has a pleasant and warm demeanor
  • Enjoys talking to people about music and the arts, and is not bashful about conversing with strangers
  • Can lift 20-25 pounds and does not have serious mobility constraints
  • Has a current driver’s license and clean driving record, and is eligible for coverage by our auto insurance. If a volunteer does not hold a driver’s license or cannot drive for some reason, that person will be limited to events on the Seattle Center grounds (PNB, Opera, etc)

Benefits to the volunteer include:
  • Free admission to the performance or event for which the table is present
  • Additional tickets to other events and opportunities
  • Other Classical KING FM benefits as they evolve
