KING FM Arts Channel

Marta Zekan has been with KING FM since 1994, as an announcer and as Production Director, responsible for KING FM's commercial audio, as well as special programming for Seattle Opera and Seattle Symphony on KING FM. She wrote, produced and hosted KING FM's Saturday morning children's classical music program, Classic KID FM, from 1995 through 2007, a program that also aired in San Francisco and Milwaukee.

Marta is a pianist who was involved for a long time with the San Diego theatre community, working as a music director, sound designer, accompanist and voice teacher. She has a music degree from UC San Diego and an MFA in Voice and Speech Training from the National Theatre Conservatory in Denver.
