Maxine Frost got her start in the production department at a radio station cluster in Portland, Oregon, and she has voiced and produced hundreds of commercials. Before joining KING FM, Maxine worked as a program host in a variety of music formats, and has also interviewed newsmakers and performing artists. Maxine studied music and theater in college, and loves drawing -- especially cartoons. She enjoys everything from early music to Bach to Bernstein. Her favorite performers include Pablo Heras-Casado, Leif Ove Andsnes, Daniel Müller-Schott, Henning Kraggerud, and Simon Trpceski. Her husband Frank is a morning news editor at a different station, and they have a big black cat who's in charge of everything.
