If you are a non-professional acoustic instrumentalist, vocalist, or in an ensemble between the ages of 6 and 18 and live in Washington, Oregon, or Idaho, you are invited to submit a (maximum) 5 minute audition video! If you have any family or friends who fit this description, be sure to let them know!
The Top Ten Finalists will participate in the Ten Grands Concert on May 21, 2010 with the first place winner earning a place as featured soloist center stage in Seattle's own breathtaking Benaroya Hall. The grand-prize also includes a $1,000 scholarship from KING FM, and more!

• What We're Looking For: Non-professional acoustic instrumentalists, vocalists, or ensembles of up to 6 people.
• Who's Eligible to Enter: All performers will need to be between the ages of 6 and 18 as of May 01, 2010, and legally reside in Washington, Oregon, or Idaho.
• To be eligible for the competition, contestants must be available to perform at the Ten Grands Concert at Benaroya Hall on May 21, 2010. All contestants must read the contest rules below.
• Your video must not exceed 5 minutes. It may be an excerpt from longer piece. It must be continuous and not be edited or enhanced in any way, and must include a spoken introduction of one minute or less by the performer at the beginning of the video. (Name, Hometown, Age).
• Videos will be uploaded to YouTube and must include KING FM Ten Grands Young Artists Awards NAME in the title of the video.
• Do not submit non-acoustic music performances.
• You may use an accompanist.
• You will be judged as a total performer, not by the technical quality of your video.
• The video, once submitted, becomes the property of KING FM, which then retains all rights for future usage.
• There will be a round of public voting after April 1, 2010 in which the top 20 videos will be featured on KING.org. More information can be found in the Official Contest Rules.
• The grand-prize winner will give a 6 minute or less solo performance at Benaroya Hall during the Ten Grands concert on May 21, 2010, playing music to be mutually agreed upon by the producers of Ten Grands.
• Judges during the competition will include representatives from Classical Radio Inc, Fisher Radio, Ten Grands and the Seattle Symphony.
