Blooming Brilliance showcases the winners of Bremerton Symphony’s Young Artist Competition. For 15 years, this annual competition identifies the very finest young musicians in Kitsap County. The finalists are invited to appear as soloists with Bremerton Symphony Orchestra and in solo performances throughout the season. Student soloists from previous years have gone on to wonderful careers – one recently joined New York Philharmonic and another joined Boston Symphony.
The technical prowess of these young soloists is astonishing and even more remarkably, as teenagers, they are already playing at a professional level. Two sensational pianists, Adrian King and Caleb Winslow, are both recent winners of Bremerton Symphony’s Young Artist Competition as well as various national competitions. At Blooming Brilliance, these two rising stars will be joined by winners of this year’s competition. On these two evenings, you will hear the winning sonata and solo performances of the competition, including masterworks by Ludwig van Beethoven and Frédérick Chopin, performed by virtuosi of tomorrow.
Bremerton Symphony celebrates 75 years – a lifetime of brilliant music, a legacy for our community. Learn more about our music and the upcoming season at bremertonsymphony.org or by calling (360) 373-1722.
