Also known as the “chant service,” Compline is an ancient nighttime prayer, sung by the Compline Choir. A Seattle tradition since 1956, and broadcast live since 1962 on Classical 98.1 KING-FM. Compline is sung every Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. Pacific Time at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral in Seattle, Washington.

Our annual holiday program of choral gems has been an audience favorite for more than ten years, and once again, offers a reflective 60-minute program, uninterrupted by applause. Favorite works by Benjamin Britten, Stephen Paulus, Rick Asher, Jessica French, and Melinda Bargreen are linked together with intimate interludes played by classical guitarist Robert McCaffery-Lent.
